Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Pipemesh, the hosted service at pipemesh.io (the "Service"), operated by Pipemesh ("we", "us"). By signing in or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.

1. The Service

Pipemesh runs CI/CD pipelines and workflows for repositories you connect. It reads the repositories you enable, runs the jobs your pipemesh.yaml declares, stores their logs and artifacts, and shows the result. What a job does is yours to decide; we provide the runners, the control plane and the views.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a GitHub account. You are responsible for what is done under your account and for keeping its access safe. Access to repositories, organizations and their pipelines follows the access the connected GitHub account has; when that access ends, so does access to the corresponding data in Pipemesh.

3. Plans and pricing

The Service is free to use during its launch period, with the compute, storage and concurrency limits shown in the product. We intend to introduce paid plans, keeping a free tier. When that happens we will publish the plans and give at least 30 days' notice before any existing use becomes paid. Nothing you use for free today becomes a charge without that notice and your agreement to a paid plan.

4. Your content

The code, configuration, logs, artifacts and other data you bring to or produce on the Service remain yours. You grant us the rights needed to run the Service on them: to read, store, process and display them to you and to the people your repositories' access allows. Public pipelines are visible to anyone with the link, as your repository's visibility and the pipeline's own setting decide.

You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to use it, including any third-party code your jobs fetch and the credentials you store as secrets.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • attack, probe or overload the Service, other users or third parties, including cryptocurrency mining and denial-of-service, or use the runners for anything other than building, testing and deploying your software;
  • circumvent the limits of your plan or interfere with other users' workloads;
  • access data you are not authorized to access.

We may suspend or limit jobs, pipelines or accounts that do, and will tell you when we can.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and will announce planned maintenance where practical, but we do not guarantee uptime during the launch period. We may change or discontinue features; where a change removes something you rely on, we will give notice through the product or by email where we can.

7. Data retention

Logs and artifacts are kept for the periods shown in the product and documentation, then deleted. When you remove a repository or your account, its pipelines, runs, logs and artifacts are deleted within 30 days, except where we must keep records to meet a legal obligation. Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and why.

8. Warranty and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from your use of the Service. For paid plans, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access for a breach of these terms, and otherwise with 30 days' notice. Sections 4, 7, 8, 10 and 11 survive.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them or from the Service is brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Where the law of the place you live gives you rights that cannot be limited by agreement, those rights stand.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when. For material changes we will notify you in the product or by email before they apply; continuing to use the Service after that is acceptance.
